Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using tenpinbowling.ie (the "Site") operated by Tenpin Ireland ("Tenpin Ireland," "we," "us," or "our"), the National Governing Body for Tenpin Bowling on the island of Ireland. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure
  • Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Site without written permission, except for standard search engine indexing
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

2. Membership

Membership of Tenpin Ireland is subject to the rules and regulations set out in the Tenpin Ireland Constitution. By applying for membership, you agree to be bound by:

  • The Rules of the Association, including acceptance of Anti-Doping testing by Sport Ireland
  • The Members' Code of Ethics and Social Media Policy
  • The General Code of Conduct

Membership runs from the date of acceptance until 30 September of the following year. To avail of ranking points, valid membership must be held prior to the first competitive ball being thrown in the first Ranking Event.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, and their arrangement — is the property of Tenpin Ireland or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any content without prior written consent.

4. User Accounts and Content

When you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

If you submit content to the Site (such as through contact forms, event entries, or arsenal data), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content in connection with operating the Site and our services as the NGB.

5. Payments

Membership fees and event entry fees are processed securely through Stripe. All payments are in Euro (EUR). Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable consumer protection law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tenpin Ireland, its officers, committee members, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites including Sport Ireland, WADA, ETBF, World Bowling, and commercial partners. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites. You access them at your own risk.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our GDPR Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Anti-Doping

All members agree to comply with the Irish Anti-Doping Rules as administered by Sport Ireland and the World Anti-Doping Code. Members may be subject to in-competition and out-of-competition testing. Full details are available on our Anti-Doping page.

11. Safeguarding

Tenpin Ireland is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults in sport. All personnel with access to young people are subject to Garda vetting. We adhere to Sport Ireland's Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children's Sport.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
