Governance
Tenpin Ireland is the National Governing Body for the sport of tenpin bowling on the island of Ireland, recognised by Sport Ireland, the European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF), and World Bowling.
About Tenpin Ireland
Founded as the Irish Tenpin Bowling Association (ITBA), Tenpin Ireland serves as the national governing body responsible for the organisation, development, and promotion of tenpin bowling across all 32 counties.
The association manages national rankings, coordinates the Senior Tour and Junior development programmes, selects and supports Team Ireland for international competition, and works with bowling centres nationwide to grow participation at every level.
Under the leadership of Chairperson Chris Sloan, Tenpin Ireland is currently undertaking a programme of modernisation — from digital membership and online event registration to a renewed focus on coaching development and youth pathways.
The organisation operates through an Executive Board and four specialist sub-committees, each responsible for a key area of the sport's development in Ireland.
